Die Plattform wurde 2006 von Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone und Evan Williams gegr\u00fcndet und hat seitdem eine rasche Verbreitung und Beliebtheit erlangt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Twitter hat eine Vielzahl von Nutzern, darunter Einzelpersonen, Unternehmen, Medien und Politiker. Es wird h\u00e4ufig als Werkzeug zur Verbreitung von Nachrichten, zur Verfolgung von Trends und zur Beteiligung an \u00f6ffentlichen Diskussionen verwendet. Dieser hatte schon seit einiger Zeit versucht, den Kurznachrichtendienst zu kaufen. So hat er die Plattform immer wieder gerne selbst dazu genutzt, um seine Tweets zu verbreiten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elon Musk ist ein sehr bekannter Unternehmer: Er ist der Gr\u00fcnder, CEO und Chefingenieur von SpaceX. Dazu kommen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>CEO von Telsa<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Gr\u00fcnder von The Boring Company<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Einer der Gr\u00fcnder von Paypal<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Musk ist bekannt f\u00fcr seine ambitionierten Ziele zur Verringerung des globalen Klimawandels durch nachhaltige Energieproduktion und -verbrauch und f\u00fcr seine hochkar\u00e4tigen Projekte wie den Hyperloop, ein vorgeschlagenes Vakuumtransportsystem. Er ist auch bekannt f\u00fcr seine umstrittenen Aussagen und Tweets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seine \u00dcbernahme von Twitter hat dann auch f\u00fcr viele <strong>Kontroversen<\/strong> gesorgt. So hat er beispielsweise viele Mitarbeiter entlassen. Au\u00dferdem hat er angek\u00fcndigt, auch umstrittene Twitter Accounts wieder freizugeben. Dazu z\u00e4hlt beispielsweise auch der Account von Donald Trump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Letztendlich hat die Situation dazu gef\u00fchrt, dass Musk als CEO abgetreten ist. Trotzdem ist er auch weiterhin der Eigent\u00fcmer des Netzwerks. Obwohl die Aktie in der Vergangenheit volatil war, hat das Unternehmen in den letzten Jahren an Wert zugenommen und es wird erwartet, dass es auch in Zukunft weiterw\u00e4chst. Wie sich im Folgenden zeigen wird, gilt diese Aussage allerdings nur mit <strong>Einschr\u00e4nkungen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Unternehmen ging im November 2013 an die B\u00f6rse und hat seitdem eine <strong>volatile<\/strong> Performance gezeigt. Zwischenzeitlich erreichte die Aktie ein Hoch von \u00fcber 75 US-Dollar, sank jedoch in den darauffolgenden Jahren auf unter 30 US-Dollar. In den letzten Jahren hat Twitter jedoch wieder an Wert zugenommen und notierte dann auch wieder bei rund 60 US-Dollar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Twitter erwirtschaftet seinen Umsatz haupts\u00e4chlich durch <strong>Werbung<\/strong>. Die Plattform bietet Unternehmen die M\u00f6glichkeit, ihre Produkte und Dienste an eine breite Zielgruppe von Nutzern zu bewerben. In den letzten Jahren hat das Unternehmen seine Einnahmen durch die Einf\u00fchrung neuer Produkte und Dienste gesteigert, darunter Live Video Streaming und E-Commerce Integrationen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Bezug auf die <strong>Zukunft<\/strong> erwartet man, dass Twitter weiterhin eine wichtige Rolle in der Verbreitung von Nachrichten und Meinungen spielen wird. Durch die Fokussierung auf die Entwicklung von Produkten und Diensten, die es Unternehmen erleichtern, mit ihren Zielgruppen zu interagieren, erwartet man, dass Twitter seine Werbeeinnahmen weiter steigern wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allerdings hat sich die \u00dcbernahme durch Elon Musk negativ auf die Gesch\u00e4fte ausgewirkt. So haben beispielsweise gro\u00dfe Firmen wie VW ihre Werbema\u00dfnahmen auf Twitter eingestellt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Situation k\u00f6nnte sich allerdings bessern, da Musk nunmehr nicht mehr als CEO t\u00e4tig ist.
